With the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector you have the opportunity to examine the actual condition of your roof early, thereby avoiding high subsequent costs for a complete roof renewal, further building damage, or even production downtime. Even without suspicion of specific damage, regular inspections should be carried out to assess the condition of the roof structure. Stay on the safe side with the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector.

The HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector has proven itself as a multi-stage tool for comprehensive analysis of roof construction and condition. Important points such as visible defects in roof sealing, efficacy of the roof drainage system and the roofs geometry, as well as the general condition of installations and fall protection are made visible during the initial inspection. This provides you with a clear overview of your roof's condition.

Maximum penetration depth: 500mm

Through meticulous examination of the roofs composition, the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector ensures that it corresponds to the building descriptions and construction documentation. It also verifies whether maintenance measures and warranty situations meet the requirements.

Effectively and sustainably test your flat roof with the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector!

  • 1. Positioning and heating:

The Flat Roof Inspector is positioned at the marked spots and heated with a gas burner to reach the required temperature

  • 2. Penetration of the roofs surface:

The heated Flat Roof Inspector is pushed in a twisting motion through the roof sealing and insulation down to the vapor barrier.

  • 3. Sample collection and visual inspection

A material sample is taken, pushed out through the handle, and inspected. The resulting hole also provides insight into the roof substance.

  • 4. Reinsertion of the sample

The extracted material sample is reinserted after inspection.
Through the reinserted sample in conjunction with the sealing performed in the next step, the roof maintains its insulation properties.

  • 5. Sealing of the reinserted sample

Subsequently, the opened area is securely sealed with a first layer of bitumen waterproofing.

Arrowhead-shaped tip for precise puncturing

The centrally positioned arrowhead-shaped tip of the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector allows for precise, vertical positioning and puncturing of the roof membrane without slipping. This creates a clean extraction hole that does not cause permanent damage to the roof.

Push-through handle to slide out the sample

Thanks to the intelligent design of the HAIDL Flat Roof Inspector, the sample can be easily extracted. By pushing down the handle, the sample is pushed out beyond the edge of the jagged tip for inspection.
